A team of regional truck drivers is looking for a dependable, and competent colleague for regional runs from Hartford, RI. We are a team that takes great care of all colleagues. Benefits:

• Salary: 0-6 mo. .58, 6-12 .59, 12-18 .60, 18-24 .61, 24+ .62
• Average earnings per week: $1,200 – $1,500
• Good miles
• Stop pay: standard
• Short haul pay
• Layover/Breakdown Pay: Standard
• Home time: weekends for 34-hour reset – also, when lanes permit it, you can go thru the house on the way to the pickup or delivery during the week.
• No Certificate
• Consistent preload and drop freight.
• Driver-friendly customers.
• One Driver supervisor to deal with (they help with all issues).
• Do have New York City lanes BUT ONLY IF the driver wants to go and we do pay an additional $100 Boroughs Pay.
• In the rare case of a layover, we pay $100 for a 24 hr period.

Requirements:

• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass drug test
• Clean driving record
• The hiring area: Massachusetts, Connecticut & Rhode Island
• Non-Driving Activities: Safety Training
• Experience: Experience preferred, as a lot of heavy traffic driving in the NYC area
• Specialized equipment: Must be willing to pull both dry van and reefers
• Do not want anyone from the five boroughs of NY no place to park and high tolls if they take the truck home.
